Why Mountain Voices?
A growing number of the members of the congregations in north Georgia have been blessed to be able to
attend the 1000 Voices event in North Carolina for the past several years.  We always return to our home
congregations and try to share the zeal and inspiration the 1000 Voices gathering provides, but our words are
never completely adequate to the task.  We decided after the 2007 event that the only way for people in our
area to understand the power of 1000 Voices is to experience such an event themselves.  Mountain Voices was
created from the inspiration of 1000 Voices.

    Funding
Mountain Voices is funded entirely by individual efforts.  No funds of any congregation of the Lord's church
are solicited or used.  There is absolutely no charge for participating, although donations are gladly accepted.

    Saturday Night Meal
We have made a point of finding a place to eat together after the Mountain Voices event.  Those details are
not finalized yet for 2012.  They will be posted and emailed when they become available.  Whatever the
arrangements are, everyone will be responsible for the cost of their own meals.  All are welcome to join us.

    Questions or Concerns
Mountain Voices is intended to serve as a venue to inspire and encourage our fellow Christians, as well as to
reach out to those outside the body of Christ in a non-threatening way.  We do not mean to cause concern
in any way.  If you see something that does bother you or raises a question, please do us the favor of
contacting Scott Bishop or Sam Adams either in person, by phone, or through the Contact Us page and give
us an opportunity to talk with you.  If we are in error, we will certainly take steps to correct it.  We would
greatly appreciate that consideration.  Thank you.
